The story behind Domaine Elaia
We are a family originally from the island of Rhodes. After many years spent living abroad, something shifted in us , a quiet, persistent longing to return to our roots. It was after the COVID-19 pandemic that this feeling became undeniable. Like many, we were reminded of what truly matters: connection, nature, simplicity, and home.
In 2020, this desire gave birth to a dream, a place where everyone could feel at home, no matter where they came from. A villa built not only with stone and wood, but with intention, care, and meaning. A space that welcomes families with children, couples, solo travelers, and even those with reduced mobility , because comfort and beauty should be accessible to all.
The construction took four years. Not because we rushed, but because we didn’t want to. Every corner, every material, every choice was considered with the same attention. No detail was too small. From the layout of the spaces to the feeling of sunlight in each room, we shaped Domaine Elaia to feel both refined and deeply human.
